Tal Eryr, meaning Eagle River, was once a large, country farm house. It has been modernised and has a large, walled garden which is mainly lawn. The house can accommodate a maximum of 14 people at one time. It is equipped with oil-fired central heating for the colder months.

The nearest shop is in Trefor, two miles away. There are two fully-licensed hotels in Clynnog Fawr serving bar meals and offering a restaurant service. There is also a pub in Trefor providing the same services.
